A Reflection

Underneath the weeping willow tree,
I quietly sit memorizing the beauty of nature's
picturesque surroundings before me,

But nothing compares to my Utopian world,
One of many secret doorways untouched ,
Leading straight into my heart.
Absorbing,memorizing,placing pieces of soul moving visions
With my jigsaw puzzle called Life,
Like an artist painting an inspiration, I sit and stare in silence.

An arched breezeway,covered by clinging wild ivy vines,
Overshadows the soft scented,orange honeysuckle blooms.
Sapphire blue coloured skies fade next to dark,angry clouds
When as the sun outshines brightly,forming aquamarine coloured skies.
Cooler summer winds blow impatiently,
A storm stirring then fading,
A sudden calm.
Blessed with moistened,raindrop kisses,
Nature's rough hand gently touched,
Softening unforgiven, thirsty vegetation

The calm after a storm,a weary soul restless
Shes been longing,for fate to bestow the one
That she dreams.
Resting together,all her scars mended complete.

As the thunder rolls and the raindrops become heavier,
She strolls down a cobblestone walkway,
To the terrazo designed corridor,pieced beautifully.

Two fountains reflect into each other's mirrored waves,
Carved marble,filigree floral designs,
Come together taking shape of two lover's embracing.

Gazing at her reflection,she finds true love's patient eyes,
His gaze glued to hers,fate entwining their souls
The moment of completion has arrived.
She has seen his face.

As a penny falls into the water,reflection dancing with the ripples,
She looks behind her for a brief moment,no one is around.

Whispering silently,her wish recited from her thoughts.

A soft spoken voice answers outloud,

"Your the woman in my dreams,our eyes reflected fate's glory.
I wish to share with you ,my spirit's long and tiring, star crossed journey."
